Choose the Right Product Form Before RFQ

A buyer can lose time or money by pushing for a lower Alloy 718 unit price while purchasing the wrong part form. Plate, Alloy 718 tube and Inconel 718 bar stock may all belong to the UNS N07718 family, but each carries different risk because geometry, standard and downstream manufacturing route interact differently.

Alloy 718 machining becomes expensive when the ordered material leaves little room for later turning, grinding or rework.
