Certification Scope Navigator
Select your program type to see which certification scope applies. This reflects the ISO 9001 vs. AS9100 vs. ISO 13485 distinctions published above — it is not a substitute for confirming exact certification scope with our team.
TiAlloy holds three ISO 9001 certifications (Quality Management, Environmental Management, Occupational Health & Safety Management). AS9100 and ISO 13485 program eligibility must be confirmed directly — TiAlloy will not claim a certification scope that does not apply to your program.
ISO 9001 (x3) is applicable
- TiAlloy’s three ISO 9001 certifications (Quality Management, Environmental Management, Occupational Health & Safety Management) cover chemical processing, energy, marine engineering, and general industrial supply.
- This is the certification scope that accounts for most nickel alloy demand outside the aerospace/defense and implantable/medical programs.
AS9100 is the relevant standard, not ISO 9001 alone
- AS9100 is built on ISO 9001 with roughly 100 additional aerospace-specific requirements: first-article inspection, key-characteristics traceability, and counterfeit-parts prevention.
- ISO 9001 alone is specifically designated as insufficient for AS9100/AS9120-qualified programs by the standards committees.
- Contact us directly for current AS9100/AS9120 certification scope clarity before committing volume.
ISO 13485 is the relevant standard, not ISO 9001 or AS9100
- ISO 13485 is a completely separate medical-device quality management system — not substitutable with either ISO 9001 or AS9100.
- Contact us directly for current ISO 13485 (or applicable FDA QMSR-documented supply) certification scope clarity before committing volume.
